They also said we were defensively poor. Which we were.

They also said Lloris made a mistake, despite otherwise being an excellent keeper. Which he did.

Pretty much spot on in their comments today.

But no comments about our resilience to secure a point ?

I watched yesterday's game on a CBS stream and Lee Dixon was commentating. Being a gooner through and through I should dislike the guy but he does a really good job. Isn't partisan against us and has a really dry sense of humour. Light years ahead of that twat McManaman and Owen who is boring as fook.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I don't think they'd get a job if they weren't nowadays to be fair. It seems to me that the tv companies want is people saying controversial things e.g. Savage and Sutton

Also see Jake Humphrey taking the piss out of Gerrard on BT last night too for him slip against Chelsea. Completely uncalled for and should be reprimanded for something like that. Gerrard took it well to be fair but he had no choice. They're all bellends.
They should get Katie Hopkins into football punditry. She could do a double act with Savage.

Ray Parlour is pretty decent on Talk Sport. Again, another ex Gooner but reasonable. I find Ray Wilkins quite irritating though.

None of the coverage I have seen has actually stated that sterling was offside

BT sport is terrible. They seem to want to shoehorn banter into every moment possible. No one can be called by their real name, they have to be "Macca" "Sav" or "Fletch" and if you aren't taken the piss out of each other then you aren't doing your job. The whole thing seems aimed at adolescent boys, it's kind of pathetic. It's so dumbed down to the point of being patronising now.

So BT Sports are ****s, Sky Sports are ****s, the BBC are biased ****s..........

I have to ask..........why are people sitting through it if its so awful? `Is it as bad on the radio? Perhaps try watching the game with the volume off and the radio on, or just the volume off. then don't watch the after match comments.

If they are that bad why actually choose sit through it and then moan about it seems very very strange to me, just watching the game without the volume on would seem the way forward to me if its that bad......

Personally, I don't think they are anywhere near as bad as people make out, yes, sometimes they say some silly things but there's not one of us, not a single one that's not done the same. There's no pre-thought out anti Spurs agenda. There really isn't and i've heard plenty of pundits giving us heaps of priase, including several of SC's favourite ****s.

As I said earlier, this is a self feeding entity and its like a mass paranoia, people are actually looking for the smallest stick to beat any media outlet or personality with.

McManaman was commentating on our game yesterday in a way most fans of another club would, after his club had got humiliated by Swansea a few hours earlier, it as obvious he didn't want a Spurs win. If I was Glenn Hoddle I would have cut him to bits a few times :D but Hoddle just went with the flow.

Look everyone, the media conspiracy runs so deep that they have now recruited A&C to cover it up... C***s.

I genuinely don't get this thread.

So much fucking moaning about nothing if it's not referees then it's the media and not them then the pundits. Fucking hell. I enjoy BT sport, BBC and Sky. Yes there will be times that they say things and can't believe they're saying it but that is the point of opinions. We have had great decisions for us this season, fair share of penalties, yellows instead of reds etc. The media and pundits have waxed lyrical about us at times.

I certainly don't take any of the crap, where I don't agree, to heart and go oh that's ruined my fucking enjoyment.

I have news for you... Referees don't have it in for us, the media don't have it in for us and the pundits don't have it in for us.

You are correct in saying they don't have it in for us but would you agree at times they do show a lot of bias and loyalty towards other clubs?

I disagree, I think they try to build something up as it makes a better news story. For example, getting excited and willing Jesus to score yesterday wasn't necessarily a bias against spurs and loyalty towards Man City, it was more to do with making a better news story... e.g Jesus saves the day... Which is pretty funny as a headline but predictable also

And Dixon's actually a city fan too...

Had to laugh at Macmanaman. After Liverpool's shit show at Anfield he was so desperate for us to not get anything. As an example, Wanyama gets brought down, lands on the ball (rightly expecting a free kick), but Ref gives it the other way for handball. Macmanaman wants Wanyama booked for deliberate hand ball, even after the replay shows what actually happened. Glad we pissed on his chips.

Well classic BBC, poor old Man City, Shearer 'that's not handball for me, ball to hand not hand ball', no close up view, just move on to the next Man City injustice!! What a joke!!! Also no mention of the foul on Wanyama before their first!!

To be fair they have limited time and we've already seen close up shots when they replayed the goal. The balls hit at him from about a foot away so he has no time to react, his arms aren't outstretched and are close to his chest, and when it does hit his hand there's no way any of the officials can see it anyway. On the other hand the Walker push is obvious from almost anywhere in the stadium, the player admits to the foul and we then go straight up the other end and score. It's no wonder they spent more time on that incident.
