Truth of the matter is people are not used to Spurs being in the mix and are looking for more familiar territory to cling on to. I hold no grudges for that. Not used to it myself. But there we sit on merit.

I don't care. We've won 6 on the bounce. And unlike previous seasons where I'd fully expect us to lose the next match - we are such an accomplished side that winning away at Man City is entirely possible.

Everything's going well:
  • we are playing brilliant football
  • we have the best manager in the world
  • we have the best striker, goal keeper, CBs, fullbacks and midfield pairings in the world
  • our best players have all signed new contracts
  • our players are young
  • our closest rivals can only compete with us by spending tens of millions on players
  • we have a new stadium (literally) on the horizon
  • we are going to win the league
  • our chairman has no hair
The euphoria I'm experiencing is not because I got laid last night (a big deal for a married man with kids) - but it completely negates any such articles. We smacked up a team 8th in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Everything is awesome. Everything is cool when your part of a dream...

Sounds like it's all going well. Just don't let your wife find out you got laid last night and it will be perfect.

If you want anti spurs bias and incompetence of the highest level you should have seen BT talking about us.

Scholes, Savage and Hargreaves, the latter thinks we need another Bale to win the league as we apparently don't have any world class players.

Scholes thinks we lack the bottle to win it and him and Savage think it will be us and Arsenal that finish outside of the top four because apparently the other teams are better than us both LOL.

Essentially they are going for Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Man United haha.
I was watching BT sport recently and at one stage thought I had flicked on Liverpool TV by mistake

When the BBC are so casual with the football news - well it is only sport and in any case there are far more liverpool/man u fans, so tell them what they want to hear - it undermines the integrity - what little they have left - of their whole news output.

The same editorial priority that directs them to twist facts to suit the audience in this case, allows them to twist the news to suit the government in their other output.

Rather they all said we are shit, or just don't mention us at all.
Flying under the radar works better for our young players I feel

This.

The looks of despair and utter horror on the faces of all at the BBC and SKY if we win the league would truly be a sight to behold.

Spurs will always let you down. The media are savvy to this now. when we start winning stuff then we will be talked about as one of the big boys.

SKY won't, their international income relies on the SKY 4, we're not as big a TV draw as those clubs.

1. Every club thinks there's a media bias against them.

2. There's no media bias against Spurs.
Sorry but I disagree. 99% of the pundits on tv and the radio are ex gooners, Liverpool, Chelsea or Man U players. Even the tv and radio presenters follow these clubs. They cant help but be biased.
Christ alive mate we get Alan fkin Smith commentating nearly every game. He couldnt give a constructive unbiased assessment of the game if his life depended on it.
We play Liverpool and we get ex gooners for the match and ex Liverpool in the bloody studio.

The SKY, BBC and BT presenters and pundits are supposed be proffessional, impartial and objective, most, or at least some, are not.

I'm sure all those football fans in Africa and SE Asia fall over themselves to tune in.
