Perhaps the absence of one Heung Min Son might explain that run of resultsBitterly disappointing. 3 draws and a loss since beating City. All games we could've won had we played anything like we did against City.

I can't recall a worse overall performance by a RB than what Trippier has put on display tonight.
Lamelas one on one dribbling is literally the worst I've ever seen for an attacking flair player. I don't think anyone has any belief that he's gonna beat a man. He seems incapable.
Actually it's as bad as Townsends, none of them can go past a man and come out with the ball.
Hey did you guys know Klopp is making his Anfield debut tonight? Flew under the radar didn't it!?
Really horrible, horrible performance.
This is my issue with Eriksen. If a club came in with £30m I would gladly accept.
He simply isn't consistent enough. Its games like this he should be grabbing by the scruff of the neck.
Replaceable.

Thing is with Lamela he presses his tiny nuts off and then seems too physically fucked to do anything constructive when he receives the ball. It's the Paul Dickov Effect.
City aside, we've been pretty average with or without Son. We obviously lack real quality, but the style of football we play under Poch leaves a lot to be desired. We press well, but I'm still waiting for us to actually look like a coherent attacking unit going forward.

I'm getting very, very worried about Kane's form.
