That's a strong team. Looks like we really are taking Europa League seriously this year.

Bit risky for Bournemouth IMO because I reckon 3 of the 4 attacking midfielders for Sunday are starting tonight.

Thats proper American style post.

I feel that the club are doing their up most to make us more welcoming to the American audience.
Or, they are making it more like what the rest of the PL does? If not every club, 95% of clubs either have a video or a graphic announcing the team and have done it that way for quite a while. We just started doing it. Alot of clubs elsewhere in Europe do it also.

good to see Townsend on the left - would like to see him playing there more often so he can beat his man and get an early cross in....

edit: presuming he plays on the left...

It really is piss poor for a club of our stature to have just N'Jie or Lamela as an alternative striker ..... tbh it's pretty embarrassing

Disappointed that Onomah isn't starting, he isn't playing youth football and neither first team football. This guy was the star of englands best youth team in the last 10 years imo if not longer and he is falling behind his peers in terms of game time and etc.

Lamela looked tired on saturday let and we are resting none of the AM3 that we will be playing against Bournemouth

I hear this every time but a strong team on paper doesn't equal a strong performance, the same thing was said against Qarabag and Monaco and both were performances weren't strong throughout the games

You don't need to take the europa league too seriously in the groups, thats just a waste of time. You need take seriously in the knockout stage, which is something we don't do because we are often resting players at that point

I hope none of our supporters have been hurt in the fracas in Belgium. Not nice at all.

Spurs have won just one of their last seven away games in the Europa League (D3 L3, excluding qualifiers)

its time for a win

Apparently Anderlecht have only won one of their last 18 European games. All lump on a draw, then.

Onomah really needs to get at least 20-30 mins tonight. He's our only attacking player on the bench bar the players we are resting.

id love to see him get 20 minutes but unfortunately poch hasnt really shown too much enthusiasm with giving him or winks serious playing time
