Curious to see how Dembele and Dier do together in midfield and I'm happy that N'jie is starting as a forward. I want to see more minutes for Wimmer, but I'm happy with this lineup.

Spurs have won just one of their last seven away games in the Europa League (D3 L3, excluding qualifiers)

its time for a win

That's a horrible CM partnership - not conducive to moving the ball forward quickly at accurately at all.

We should still have enough to win the match though.

Is the CM partnership conducive to allowing the full backs more license though?

Satisfied with the team selection. The only change I would have made would have been to start Onomah at CAM with Eriksen left and Townsend right.

We can still do that if we sub Lamela after 60'. Maybe bring Winks in for either of the CMs and bring Alli in for Eriksen while throwing Townsend to the left after 75-80'

Really want minutes for Winks and Onomah tonight.

I'd have been tempted to start Winks with one of Dembele/Dier.

Onomah really needs to get at least 20-30 mins tonight. He's our only attacking player on the bench bar the players we are resting.

Not shocking to see Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Dembele all starting in Belgium. Shame about Chadli.

I like that we are playing strong teams mid-week - CL squads all field strong teams mid-week, no reason why we can't also. I think it helps build better cohesiveness.
