Shit, I wanted Fiorentina to not qualify for the CL, as they have a couple of players (Frey and Gamberini) that I think would be good signings for us.

Well Franck Ribery and Luca Toni went to Bayern after they failed to make the CL. European giants such as Milan will always attract the top drawer players whether they are in the CL or not. Barca brought Ronaldinho in when they were in the UEFA cup.

That is true.

But if Berbatov would choose Milan I would not be happy. He could as well give us another season or until january and then leave for another club, or stay with us if we're moving forward.

And I don't think he will go to Milan. Maybe I'm building this on my hope that he will stay.

There should be some good games in the Uefa next season - it's definitely gonna be harder to win with not only Ajax & Milan but Man City, Everton & potentially Villa in there too.

There will be 5 English clubs (at least) in the Uefa cup next year, which is crazy.

Hopefully Arsenal will be in it the following season

Although Barca signed Ronaldinho from PSG, and they've been shit for ages...

Last time I went to the San Siro, some gypsy stole my wallet.

You're a man of integrity and distinction, Joey, but I recently saw that fascist undercurrents are stirring in Italy, the land of Mussolini and P2. There was some anti-gypsy chanting against Pirlo, for instance. And this is nasty stuff:

Sixty-eight per cent of Italians, fuelled by often inflammatory attacks by the new rightwing government, want to see all of the country's 150,000 Gypsies, many of them Italian citizens, expelled, according to an opinion poll.
The survey, published as mobs in Naples burned down Gypsy camps this week, revealed that the majority also wanted all Gypsy camps in Italy to be demolished .
...................
"This hostility is a result of the generally inflammatory language of the current government, as well as the previous one," said EveryOne director Matteo Pegoraro. "Italian football stars at Milan teams assumed to have Gypsy heritage, such as Andrea Pirlo, are now also the subject of threatening chants."Commenting on the attacks in Naples, Umberto Bossi, the head of the Northern League party said: "People are going to do what the political class cannot."

Well, i can't comment on that stuff, but I will say to be careful on the trains etc, because they are sneaky fuckers. A woman came up to me begging and whilst she was distracting me, another took my wallet from my pocket. Then some Italian guy starts shouting at me from the other end of the carriage, but I couldn't understand him. He was trying to tell me to stop them as he'd seen what they'd done. But it was too late. They wait for the train to pull up at a stop, so they can take it and get off quickly.

The Italian gypsy situation needs a thread of its own. Proportionally they (the gypsies) do a whole lot more of the crime and leave people too scared to leave their homes etc. It's not a one way argument being the point I'm making. The incident where their homes were burnt down was an IMO OTT revenge for one gypsy girl caught in the act of stealing another womans baby in her own home.

How fond are Briton's of their own gypsy population? I would think 68% would vote to expel them too...
