If we decide to play like first half Yesterday, we might as well just give them the victory.
I know a lot of people jokingly said pre game they weren't going to watch our first half, I'm now starting to think this was the case. We weren't great prior to them scoring and we were better second half but the first half (goals aside wasn't anywhere near as bad performance wise as many are making out.

Antonio got this:
Tottenham’s Antonio Conte has won more matches in all competitions against Milan than he has versus any other side in his managerial career.( With Juventus not Spurs obviously)

Quite like that draw.

Considering the other teams we could have drawn, AC Milan is probably the easiest of the lot.

A seriously underperforming Chelsea turned them over home and away.

A few upgrades in Jan, players back to full fitness and we should be seeing AC off.

Had we not won the group we would have been up against Europe’s in form team in Napoli

Tricky match but it’s a proper European game which is why we are in this competition and it’s what we want to see. There won’t be many chumps left in this tournament now so may as well enjoy it!

It used to be a worry playing top Italian sides. They didn't score a lot of goals but could sit on a 1-0 lead for days and always difficult to beat. Not anymore, certainly not at the moment with perhaps the exception, this season anyway, being Napoli. We could have had a lot worse draw and if we turn up for 90 minutes and not 45 we can win this. I feel very confident we will. It's not until early next year and hopefully Conte will have us firing.

I wonder if the wife would be keen for a romantic Valentines break to Milan? :sneaky:
