Being as his dad is dead it's pretty certain he doesn't actually wash anything but we do seem to have this history for singing songs about the goons don't we?
I can remember the Charlie Nicholas one, there's the Wenger one, this one, stand up if you hate Arsenal and I bet there's plenty more i've missed
That's why we've a repertoire of pretty shit songs really, we're all too busy standing up to show how much we hate Arsenal.
But surely this passion of dislike towards them is a good thing.
Ok the Adebayor is taking it a bit to far, and I wouldn’t mind seeing it being wiped from the stands, along with that Campbell song (for some reason I thought the hanging from a tree bit was a reference to Stan Collymore who admitted he was going to attempt that during one of his breakdowns). I have heard worse songs in my life but both do have undertones of racism, which is why they should be stopped.
In a perfect society the Adebayor song could be seen as just banter but unfortunately while people associate race to highly it will become more then banter, which is why it should be stopped.
But to stop singing about l’arse altogether would take away something out of our rivalry. It would be like supporting Brighton who have no conceivable rivals. So very dull.
