this thread fascinates me. here in the States, where in general we are far more backward socially than in Europe, these kind of songs would never fly. and by backwards I mean we have very limited welfare, limited government funding for healthcare, and blacks have much greater difficulty escaping poverty than whites. but we dont sing songs about them at sporting events.
