So impressed with Richarlison. Gutted for him it was ruled out as he had a great game. Been consistently very good

Richarlison was fantastic!

Also today showed that Bentancur is very underrated. Such a calming presence in midfield. Missed him a lot against West Ham

A lazy, sloppy attempt at a tackle from Romero on Mitrovic had us needlessly hanging in for the last 10 minutes. It’s an unfortunate habit of his.
Other than that it was easily our best performance of the season. The passing and tempo was much better than it was on Wednesday and there was some very good performances from the likes of Sess, Bentancur( we look so much better with him in the side, he is literally everywhere), Richarlison and Romero until his aberration. Despite scoring 5 goals so far this season Kane still doesn’t look like he’s fully up to speed. Son was much better today and was very unlucky not to score. Richarlison unlucky not to opening his scoring account but he works so hard for the team.Bodes well that while unbeaten so far none of our forwards have really hit their stride yet.
He was tackling with caution because anything more rash and caused us a penalty, there will similarly be others slating him for that as well. Credit to Mitrovic for that goal more so than anything else.

For 85 mins a stroll in the park. We had a bit more energy and zip today, Fulham though were one of those teams who rocked up and did quite a lot of nothing - didn't press, didn't get in behind the ball, didn't have any ideas apart from boot it towards Mitrovic, loads of space for the man on the ball, loads of space between the lines. Really the opportunity (like last weekend) was there to thrash them, a bit of bad luck in terms of the woodwork but I thought in the final third we were quite wasteful again and still don't think our attackers are firing on all cylinders. But we played alright and were well worthy of an extremely comfortable scoreline.

Then though we got 5-10 mins where I was just left shaking my head at how hard we can make it for ourselves, and show we still lack maturity, tactical discipline, calm heads, intelligence and smarts, etc. 2-0 up and last few mins, you don't all run forward sniffing a goal (eg. Romero) and then get caught short, someone out of three of our players has to make the tactical foul, they don't, all of a sudden it's 2-1. That was a bit sloppy, after that we just carried on doing dumb shit - players running out of position and getting ahead of the ball to give them more counter opportunities, individuals charging to close down and losing all shape, not holding on to possession and making smart decisions, needlessly running offside, shit like Emerson pushing up to take a throw in in injury time and then having to dash back because his position is empty, blah blah blah.

It's a funny old game.....

Thought we would win, and we deservedly.
Joint best start in the Prem?
So impressed with Richie, very much a 60m player. A lot have doubted him.,but he's showing with a better team than Everton, he's better too

So important we picked up the 3 points.

Even if we lose to City next week....Chelsea and Liverpool can't take us.

Some suspect defending by Romero in the last 10 minutes but he was already on a yellow so probably couldn’t play his usual game. Fantastic performance from the team though. That was more like it.

Nobody would ever have predicted as much before he arrived (including me, I have to add).
Not sure about that, Everton fans adored him, you can see exactly why, workrate, skill, passion, top top signing. Will rile up opposition players and fans but fans favourite for sure.
