You’re just bitter about Grealish...
ITK seems to be a bit contradictory but I guess that’s the nature of the beast. I’m not sure how we “have money” but a high quality player like Werner would cost too much. You just get the feeling that we are getting further and further out of touch with transfers.

Dembele has gone, and we'd get the cream of bugger all for Vorm with him being 35 and out of contract in summer so may as well let him leave.
There's 2 squad spaces we didn't have in summer... it's just become another excuse for the BSoDL to lap up at this point imo.

Is it? If you were a fan of another Premier League team and you were getting Janssen for £10m, would you be happy with it? Or would you suggest that it'd be better to take a punt on a player who hadn't already tried and failed to make an impact at this level?
You know that we have heard this hogwash repeatedly....." the window hasn't closed yet". If I got a pound for every occasion it was mentioned the last 2 windows... I'd be able to pay for a new midfielder.... exaggeration intended.
If we were serious then negotiations would have happened with interested clubs in December and players joined 1 January... something like Liverpool did December 2017 with VVD. So a poster like the one you reference is quite balanced in his assessment of the ITK received.
