Arsenal need to comply with this. Back in 2013 they refused the 15% away allocation to both us and Liverpool for the FA cup matches, citing safety reasons, but gave Chelsea the full 15% for a league cup match.

(Well they won't be doing it this year anyway)

League cup and FA cup have many varying regulations.

I'm not arguing that, or against you Trix.

The FA expects a 15% allocation for cup matches, however Arse FC brought that figure down for alleged safety reasons
for two games as stated above.

The cite safety yet when rock concerts are held there you can find people dancing on the upper terraces.

It is seen as just Arse not wanting too many away supporters at their matches and making noise.

Just a question, but are you white and straight...and a parent? If so then perhaps it is because you can truly identify with one of those things but lack the frame of reference for the others. No judgment, just saying. Regardless, any of that abuse is sickening.

Well, I'm a childless straight Latino and I can't conceive how anyone can think some racist/homophobic slurs would be at all comparable to making fun about the death of a little kid... straight to the face of that kid's dad.

I've heard racist comments, I've known people that have said racist things, the same for homophobic slurs but I can't even comprehend how anyone could think about taking the piss out of someone for the death of their child. You have to be a real nasty piece of shit to come out with that.

Here's a thought, and a question for you. Do you think that Newport might ask for a change of venue, to play at Wembley? It would sacrifice home advantage, but it would give the players and fans a good day out and increase the amount the club would get for the much bigger capacity. The extra money could make a huge difference for them.
As others have said it's not an option. Pity as playing at Wembley would've been a great day out for County fans, more money for the club and probably a better chance of getting a ticket too!

Ugh that anyone would even think racist or homophobic abuse, while awful, could possibly compare to the monstrosity of abusing someone personally over the death of their child.

Come on FFS.

14 pages of us saying something about ourselves.

Get a grip people.

How are Burnley reacting to having a Champions League goal scorer in their squad? They must be so excited.

Agreed. I remember it happening, but after I posted the one you quoted, I did a bit of research and found that the rules changed around 2003. So, I stand corrected.

haha, i've got no problem with 'the Spurs'
We sing 'Oh when the Spurs' regularly...its 'Hotspurs' that grips my shit.

I don't mind "the Spurs" when it's in that song, my logic being that the "the" comes from the original song lyrics (i.e. Oh when the saints go marching in) but I hate it when people say "the Spurs" in the way like "How did the Spurs play this weekend". Seems t be almost exclusively the yanks who do that though because they think it's The Spurs in the way that it's The Patriots or The Rams etc.

I think their main message board is grumbling about him, I imagine there will soon be a thread along the lines of "Dyche needs to have a long hard look at himself" to discuss the signing.

I just went on The Grand Old Team Spurs thread and all they’re talking about is what is the best pub to go to near Wembley. The Green Man is the general consensus.

1 little sweetheart is worried about the pubs loss of trade around WHL. Good lad

I really hope the Antwerp Arms is soldiering on.

Interesting response. Almost like Levy planned it!

Yes mate. Around half the pubs have closed over the last 10-15 years as the fan demographic and football culture has changed.

Will probably suit the club as more of us will have to drink inside the new stadium.

If we're going to get Redemption or Beavertown set up in the ground, I will happily drink in there (after a couple at the aforementioned Antwerp).

Woolwich Nomads were once called The Arse - one of many previous name changes and they sneakily dropped its use
cos they are dirty rotten blackguards.
