Zaha has 6 assists this season which is more than Ozil, Coutinho, Mane and David Silva.
That's more assists than Hazard too. In fact if you add up goals, assists and penalties won (some sites class that as an assist if the penalty is scored), Hazard only has 2 more than Zaha and had played 3 games more.

Edit: I don't actually want us to sign Zaha, but he has become more productive.

Very few do.

My shopping list:

Cover for Eriksen
Eriksen has had a great second half to the season but in every year he has been at spurs, he has tended to be quite poor in the first half of seasons. That's to be expected with creative players. I don't know of any who are consistently brilliant across the season. Isco would be a huge signing and there's enough games to rotate the two. With CL and Wembley. why not think big and get a player of that quality?

Powerful wide player
Poch seems to want a player with power to drive past players and Sissoko has perhaps not met expectations. Ross barkley has been targeted but IMO he holds on to the ball for too long and kills the momentum of attacks. He's young but there's chasm in terms of quality between him and Alli, who is younger than he is but far more intelligent on and off the ball. He's got far more drive too. I also think Winks shows far more intelligence on the ball than Barkley. Maybe under Poch he can come good but we're a side who dominate possession. We need players who can pass the ball quickly and accurately in forward areas. I don't know why Poch wants Zaha when he clearly doesn't want to utilise players like N'Koudou or N'Jie before him who have similar traits, even as a plan b.

Right sided CB
Since we moved to 3 at the back, we desperately need competition/cover for Dier at CB. I know it's controversial as he is well liked but he's been a weak link at the back. IMO he's a very good DM but quite an average CB. He's still very young but he makes a lot of rash decisions. We also need a complete reshuffle when he is unfit as Wimmer comes in or we go 4231. For those haven't seen him, Harry Maguire at Hull has been outstanding in a 3 man defense. Right footed. Tall, powerful but very composed on the ball. I'd imagine there will be quite a lot of takers for him.

Back up for Kane
I still think Janssen is a good player but I don't think Poch does otherwise he would have bought him on earlier vs Saints rather than shift Alli upfront which didn't work. He seems to want to try anything before giving Janssen a go. We can't have that situation next year. We shouldn't be rushing Kane back from injuries as long term, this may take it's toll. I have no idea what striker we can get but he'll need to be mobile and physical to play up front on his own.

Is there a reason why most of you insist so much on Janssen doing well even though he struggled a lot, whereas no one gives a chance to Nkoudou???
I don't understand it really. None of them has done well, and if I had to chose one of them Nkoudou showed more potential. Yet everyone has Nkoudou out already

I think that's more because Nkoudou barely makes the bench, suggesting Poch doesn't rate him at all.

I don't think it is true that no one has given Nkoudou a chance. I've seen several posters believe he has been good.

I think the difference is there is a real need for a backup to Kane. We were hoping Janssen was it and the support is a bit more in hope.

In AM we have various options so if Nkoudou flops it'll be disappointing but won't affect the team as much.

I haven't seen anyone slag Nkoudou and say he isn't good enough, but I think it is a safe bet that if he only played 36 mins in the PL when we played with 3 AMs and Lamela was injured, then reducing the number of AMs we use to 2, is probably going to mean he is going to be moved on. Njie played more in the PL and he was injured for 5 months.

Personaly I don't see how Barkley or Zaha make us any better, stronger in reserve maybe but not our first team. In the CL I don't see Barkley or Zaha taking us to the next level. I don't see them starting when everyone is fit. In rotation, sure, off the bench, sure, but I would really like to see an improvement in our starting 11.

I think our starting XI are as good as any team in the league. When we struggle, its when we rotate due to congestion, injury or suspension. Improving the players who rotate in will go a long way towards our league record and potential for trophies.

Right now, the biggest hole in our line-up is when Eriksen is out. I think Barkley can fill that role, and provide a good option on the bench, capable of coming in for Dele or Eriksen - and that keeps everyone fresher throughout the season.

ETA - I'd also like to see what Poch can do with Barkley, given what we have seen Poch do to improve players like Dele, Lallana, Rodriguez, and Eriksen.

I agree we need to improve our starting xi but not sure who I would replace. I like 3-5-2 so only really Dier who can be improved upon. Personally I would go for players like Sessegnon and Tielemans who have the potential to be huge but could be eased in slowly.

Agreed

But I think our change of formation has limited his impact, along with Sisskos and sons, it's killed his opportunities.

We have been very inconsistent, Ali, Toby, victor, going to say Son, Ben Davis, vs a lot of players who we didn't need, but strangely we have the most balanced team in the league.

Why we sold Pritchard, chadli loaned nije and odwua, and brought 2 players who don't play in MS and Nkoudou.
