"We're hearing the Sheffield United bus is yet to arrive at White Hart Lane and that kick-off has been delayed by 15 minutes to 8pm. Just waiting on confirmation of that..."

If they play like their bus driver plans journeys, we'll be okay

Good. Hopefully that means they'll have to forego a proper warm up. Unless they get out the bus and start jogging to the Lane.

Both teams were out warming-up at 19.22 Hrs. So all's fine.

We've a lot of big games coming up, tonight, next week, the FA Cup, a massive February in the League and of course the Europa League to come.

If Adebayor can come in now and perform like we know he can, and contribute over the next few months it could be a huge bonus. I know he doesn't really suit Poch's style but if he's prepared to put in the effort he could be a real asset for us in the coming weeks.

He's here for a while yet so we should all get behind him - the Club and the team comes first, as does Poch's judgement.

Love posts like this - Do you ever post the same about Soldado? He's owed us a performance for 18 months.

Yes I have.

I've been posting the same about Soldado. Exactly the same.

So back to the acual point I was making. Ade owes us a performance.

He was named vice captain BEFORE the season. BEFORE he pissed them all off and had a spat with Kane.

Most of the fans definitely dont like him. He has a horrible attitude, rarely tries, and is the definition of a mercenary.

Don't quote rumour as fact. Np media outlet has picked that up either.

I really hope no idiot is booing Ade today, he wears our shirt and he's got the fucking armband. Would just be embarassing and wrong.

Good team though, great to see Mason back and I hope Andros keeps going!

Because it's a choice between them two. One is given blind support despite doing nothing in 18 months, the other has a 1 in 2.5 record in the league for Spurs, yet is the most hated, despised, laziest, unprofessional and useless player according to Spurs fans. How can that be?

When have I given Soldado blind support?

Don't make me go back through the Burney match thread.

Not happy about ade starting, this is a semi final ffs. He better play well otherwise I'm going to whl and tea-bagging him.

Like the rest of the team.

We shall see. On Saturday Kane played very much as a No.10 in the attacking midfielder sense rather than as a second striker, picking the ball up deeper and getting crowded out a lot of the time. At the end of last season when Kane and Adebayor were partnered I thought they did an ok job of mixing up who at times led the line whilst the other dropped deep. I hope they do play as a strike partnership, rather than as a defined 9 + 10, as I think it could give Sheff Utd. more problems with movement etc. and deciding on who picks up who marking-wise.

That sounds like the most sensible way to deploy the two of them together. They share a few similar traits and keeping the centre halves guessing and constantly unsure wether to go with their man or let him go and pick up someone else/'mark the space' could, as you say, reap us some rewards

See, I really dont get this mentality at all. But I guess its a cultural thing. Booing players who dont perform and act like twats is perfectly normal in America.

Booing players who play like shit, and act like twats does not equate to not supporting the team. In no way, shape or form does it equate to that. If players dont want to get booed, then they should start taking responsibility for their play and work to improve and keep their head down and out of the public light. Pretty simple, actually.

Has to be a cultural thing though.
Yes it absolutely does. Supporting is getting behind your team/players even when things aren't going well. I think you are confusing being a fan with being a supporter.
