I sometimes think it’s strange I’ve never caught another commuter on SC on their phone

I was watching the jose's first press conference in full on my laptop before and i realised the guy next to me was on a lesser spurs forum. We somehow didnt bond.

I would take this guy above Giroud, Balotelli Llorente at this point , best of a bad bunch

Part of me almost wishes Mario could come here on a short term deal for the sheer unpredictability he brings. Not sure I’ve forgiven him for that stamp on Scott Parker that should have seen him off before scoring an injury time penalty, though.

If he is available, and a loan is a legitimate option, he seems quite likely. I think Utd will go for Slimani or someone else. Given he was pulled from last nights game completely, you’d assume they’re open to him leaving.
Jose or Balotelli, either of them on loan for 6 months, and I feel we definitely come out of the window stronger than when we went in.
If we go for Llorente, or nobody, then it just feels like more of the same disappointment.

Sky Sports reporter at United ground has just said he is definitely not going to United...
It’s the fee that’s the problem. Suspect they’ll want an obligation for a steep price and we won’t pay it. If we were anywhere near them price wise this would have been done yesterday after the Piatek move broke down.

Of all the strikers we're left being linked to, this guy is the one I'd like the most.

Don't mind Giroud, think he would be a good option but sounds like Chelsea aren't gonna let him leave.

Sounds like we are playing a game of chicken with Sociedad tbh.

I think this is the one that will happen.
If Utd are truly not in the running, it seems Sociedad want/need to move him now, because he’s become unsettled.
You could be right, it’s a Levy game of risk, if Sociedad want obligation and we want option.

ITK earlier in the window said Sociedad would take just about any deal. If Utd. are out, Levy must be licking his lips at the prospect of a bit of deadline day shithousing.

Hope it's true, of all the players we were linked to I felt he ticked the most boxes judging by the highlight videos only. Looked very physical, reminded me of Diego Costa, good in the air and isn't from Arsenal or Chelsea. As far as backups go, he looked ideal as a Kane understudy.

People will no doubt label him as 'not EPL proven' but I'd prefer to take that chance than those with the 'EPL washed up' tag. Looks like the kind of player Son, Dele, Lucas, Bergwijn, GLC etc could thrive off.

Well this is why I judge the physical nature of players games when we're looking at a few options. When we were in for GLC and Bruno at the same time, I was lucky enough to had already watched them both a little bit and felt GLC would find it easy to adapt to the league just because of that physicality and tenacity. Judging by clips only this guy seems to have that in spades.

Fingers crossed for this guy. Could be the difference maker in the top 4 race and a run at the FA cup.
