Max Meyer has Been whored to the EPL, and we were first call. We have and maintain zero interest! Good fit for Palace. But guy is seriously over hyped, and even moreso-over rated.

Yeah, he had a lot of potential which I think was sadly offset by his excess douchebaggery.

Real shame, but could do a decent job for a mid-table team like Palace. However I'd have assumed he was more of a Cabaye replacement than a Zaha one.

Was mentioned a couple of pages back. Is in a free I think but they will still need to free up wages Im sure.

He is free but demands lots of signing fee and a huge salary, which is why no one in the Bundesliga is interested.
Completely sick agent who argues that Meyer is a world class player and deserves to be paid like that.
The young guy does not get any sympathy in germany atm.

Odds on Zaha coming to us have been cut across the board. Best odds now 4/1, with most bookmakers going 5/2 or 2/1. Last night you could get 14/1, with most layers going 6/1 and 8/1.

Apart from Ladbrokes, odds on him joining Chelsea have lengthened to 6/1 and 8/1.

It probably doesn't mean much, and it is still odds on him staying at Palace, but obviously someone is taking a punt on him coming to us.
I work at head office for a betting company (one of the big ones) and my first day I asked about transfers and how can they ajust the odds on to what information they hear. Apparently they have a team dedicated for finding which agencies meet clubs and all the rest of it. So to see the odds get slashed can only be a good thing.

Probably being optimistic here, but with the promises Levy has made to Poch, Kane, etc. to get them to sign new contacts, he will HAVE TO bite the bullet at some point and make a statement signing. The player that makes the most sense is Zaha as he is the one player Poch has been chasing for years. I'm far from confident but I figure that if we splurge on someone, it'll be him.

If Zaha is the only player we sign and we keep Dembele for another season would everyone be satisfied?

Satisfied? Not really. Zaha is a player I've liked for quite some time so I would be happy with that but we haven't really adressed our lack of options in midfield when Dembélé is injured.

Considering the market and that most big teams have only been able to get in one big signing so far, us getting in line with that and not losing any key players would have to be seen as a slight success, or at least not a failure

It’s not like we’d be behind everyone else in that case and imagine how Chelsea fans would be feeling, 2 or 3 would obviously be nice though

I'd be happy with only Zaha considering where we are now at this stage. but fairly disappointed considering how the window has gone.

I think we'd be fine but it would be a big oversight from the club to not strengthen the midfield. Even if we can't get someone brilliant, surely we need to add a passing, or at the very least, box to box midfielder to make up the numbers given Dembele, Wanyama and Winks' injury problems.
