Everton believed to be frontrunners. Gnonto has refused to play their last two matches and is now training away from the team as he awaits a move.

I think he is exactly the type of profile Ange looks for on the wings. He can beat a man, play in real tight spaces, and has very quick feet allowing him to get his shots off quickly. His playing style and build actually remind me a lot of Solomon.
So we're hijacking Everton again 😂

If he was left footed, defo. But he's not. He's just like Solomon.

Wouldn't be against it, but we'd still need to add a left footed winger. I wonder if Gil could come back into the fold?

Well either a left footed winger (young talent could be Nuamah) or a winger who is extremely comfortable on the right (Nico Williams).

We need an explosive winger. I was really surprised that solomon didn't come on when Brentford parked the bus

Is this really the type of player we need?
Obviously, I don't know the full details behind his refusal to play but that still concerns me.

I hear you, but he is an Italian international footballer - how many of them muck it in the Championship? You can understand him wanting to move

I was surprised we weren't linked to him before, agree with others that his falling out with his current club isn't a good look but we don't know the circumstances behind that, you can say it's unprofessional etc but we don't know the level of force they were exerting to where he felt he had no choice, good example is Sam Allerdyce trying to force his agency on Ravel Morrison. He's a fantastic player.

Must be waiting for him to do their medical then before we announce it

If we were to sign Gnonto and Orban, I think that would really cement this as a long term project and I'd be really excited about it. I think the optics of giving young talents chances would be better accepted if we went this route. As much as I rate Vlahovic for example, that's a signing with a different sign post imo.

Seems like a fairly typical opportunist punt from Levy. Surprised we haven't been linked with Tyler Adams who has a £20m release fee and could cover DM and RB, especially in the inverted full back role.
