One interesting bit from that article in particular, is Adebayor a poor man's Kanu - or a high-quality version of Peter Crouch?

Think that's a weird question as even though he's a Gooner striker, putting my neutral hat on for a mo surely he's better than Kanu in terms of goal scoring consistency?

Take the Peter Crouch bit out as more interested in whether people think Adebayor or Kanu is better?

Always thought Kanu was very overrated. Definitely had the talent, but was no where near as constant as I'd want a player to be before they can be labelled a top class. Adebayor is much better IMO, although I'm beginning to dislike him a lot :)

Adebayor is scoring for fun this season, therefore he is currently better than Kanu ever has been, though Kanu had a massive potential.

No brainer IMO.

Adebayor's come on enormously and is practically unplayable at times. Dunne and Richards really struggled to cope with him on Saturday. No contest.

Adebayor is better plus his interviews always make me laugh.

Kanu > Adebayor

Adebayor doesn't give a f*** about his team mates and can't pass.

Kanu was very laid back; and in a way very much like Kanoute was though not as skillful.

Adebayor has a lot more aggression and is thus more fearful for the opponents.

Adebayor by quite some considerable distance. Kind of like comparing Rebrov and Berbatov...

Was Kanu even better than Peter Crouch? I don't remember him being so great.

Also, Adebayor has been great this year. He is a selfish striker, especially when compared to Crouch and Kanu, but is there anything wrong with that?

He puzzles me because my general opinion of him for about a year was he was a complete donkey, then all of a sudden about 6 moths ago he started becoming a real force! I rmemeber when we were linked with him and people were saying he wasnt good enough and we could do better, but i guess the gooners got the last laugh with this one. :-(

I don seem to remember Kanu being amazing at any stage and purely for the aggresion the Adebayor shows when attacking the oppositon box i think he is a better forward.

My brother dry humped Adebayor in Embassy Nightclub in front of the arsenal team on their xmas do.

He took it well, laughed and didn't act like an arrogant twat like so many footballers do.

So he gets my vote, beause anyone who can handle getting dry humped by my little brother is man enough in my book.

Much better player than Kanu, by far.

(dry humping = pulling down trousers, arms held around waist and the whole humping action against leg...)
