The potential candidates, which basically are all our regular or semi regular English players, are:

Robinson
King
Dawson
Woodgate
Huddlestone
Lennon
Jenas
Defoe
Bent

Out of those lot, i expect (if fit), King, Lennon and Jenas. Maybe Woody.

Not sure if Defoe's done enough in front of Capello but may get in due to lack of other strikers (or maybe Capello's seen videos of what he can do when he's on fire). Doubt Robbo will make it for obvious reasons, Dawson's drop in form & Bent's lack of action will keep them out and Hudd's not ready yet.

Agree or not?

Lennon and Jenas both deserve to be in the squad, that's about it!

Downing....

I think if fit and willing King will or would have walked straight into the team.

Not sure is Capello has seen Woodgate, hasn't he been injured since he was apointed?

Lennon and JJ have to be there.

Dont think we have anyone else who has played enough, or well enough to get in.

I hope King doesn't get a look in.

Jenas and Lennon only probably.

I think Jamie O'Hara stands more chance than Defoe right now.

I think there may be a surprise inclusion:

Fabio: And for centre forward I pick Berbatov!

FA: You can't do that! He's not English!

Fabio: Neither am I! What's your point?

Lennon and Jenas should be certs based on recent performances
King and Woodgate should be in if 100 percent
Defoe with an outside chance seeing as there are no good English strikers atm, with the exception of Wayne 'new Andy Cole for England' Rooney

Don't know, don't care.

Actually, I do care. As few as possible, because I don't want us fucked by further injuries.

King got his long term injury playing for England. In a friendly. So did Lennon (he missed our first 6 weeks or so).

I hope they all "do a Carragher" and retire from international football

I hope none of them get in, simply cos we need them fresh and injury free.

King, Lennon, Jenas, maybe Hudd... Defoe may not have done loads to impress Capello, but then neither have many English strikers... If Woodgate plays, and plays well tomorrow, he might as well...

I would love it if the Hudd was called up, he deserves it IMO, he's worked incredibly hard and put in some good performances at CB. Capello might even call up a young squad if he wants to build for 2010 straight away so he's got every chance.

You can guarantee that if any spurs players get into the squad, and then play in the friendly, they will be ripped apart by the media, or pick up an injury, or both. So I'd be chuffed to bits if none of our players were selected.

Oh, talking about international football and injuries, Keano injured his ankle while playing for Ireland and missed a couple of months.
