From attacking players perspective, here is a incredible stat.

As of today, 4 players in current starting XI, are in top20 Spurs PL goal scorer list :
All these 4 could become Spurs legends...Kane will defintely be one.
Kane - 75
Eriksen -31
Dele -27
Son - 18

The top 3 are Teddy (98), Defoe (91), Keane (91). Kane is ofcourse 4th.

Think about it - PL is now 24 years old. But 1/5th of the Spurs top20 PL scorers list is from yesterday's squad.

If all these 4 players stay for another 2 years, in the current rate will be in top10 scorers, with Kane possibly becoming the best Spurs PL scorer ever next season...Incredible

I think for various reasons Kane is the most important player we've had since Hoddle. Not the best but most important.

true that, but when we had the finale at the Lane how loud was the roar for Ledley and the Hod? Loyalty instantly scores high for me when acknowledging a club legend. That said, legends like Ginola, Klinsmann, Bale, Van De Vaart, Modric and Berbatov didnt stay too long with us did they?

Players that come through our system system and go on to do big things, both for this club and at international level, will always get the higher legend status.
Kane is certain of that status, even if he were to leave next year (not that he will).
Also the reason behind departure would impact somewhat on a player's status.
Ginola for example, was pretty much shunted out by George Graham.

I'd be loathed to class Bale, Modric or Berbatov as legends anyway... particularly because of their behaviour in forcing their moves. If Bale were to wilfully return at some point in the future, maybe I'd move his status up a bit.

Kane. Already is.

Probably Lloris, Walker and Rose are already as well due to the lack of competitors over the last maybe 10-15 years.

Klinsmann was considered a legend playing only one season for us, so nothing to do with amount of games.

Have you heard how our away support sing Dele Alli's name.....he is on course. Kane, of course is probably already
Lloris
Rose is already imo from that goal he scored against Arsenal and the tigerish way he plays.
Eriksen
Most of this squad really if we can go onto winning titles and other trophies.

The biggest one is Pochettinho, if he can do even half of what Sir Alex Ferguson did at ManU take this club into any era he'll be alongside Bill Nicholson, statue and naming rights will be commissioned.

Dele, maybe - depends how he leaves us.

Harry - is obviously never going to leave - so definitely him

Spot on. Being a Legend is not all about ability and length of time at club. You have to also factor in their "attitude" towards the club.

Nicholson won 8 major trophies, Fergie won 24 major honours.

You want Poch to do 12 before he's considered alongside Bill Nic?

Thanks for the correction.

I want Poch to win things and take our club into a new era of dominance ideally, however that might not be possible with the money and competition around so I'd settle for us competing and winning titles trophies at a respectable rate. Note I am not saying it should be a pressure at this present time to win titles or trophies because i still believe our trajectory is leading towards those things .

Bottom line I am happy....I look at our stats and wonder how we haven't won the league that alone is progress but at this rate of progress the time will come for us to make that step...and I love Poch to be that man leading us.

Tells us all we need to know about how sad this club has been in the prem era, until now.

In this order:

Kane
Poch
Dembele (cult favorite)
Hugo
Eriksen (will eventually be world class)
Rose
Alli (possibly higher if he sticks with us to his peak)
Vertonghen/Toby
Walker (out of contention if he leaves this summer)
Son (another cult favorite)
Wanyama
Lamela (may usurp son as a cult favorite if he returns strong)

Basically, all of them. They have cemented themselves, the past season or two, with memorable performances and personalities as part of the fabric of Tottenham's glorious history.

Kane.
Academy lad, 20+ PL goals in his first three full seasons.
Double golden boot winner (fingers crossed).
Academy lad. I'll repeat that, as that's worth a lot in itself to see one of our own succeed.

Kane should be top by the end of next season, which will be an amazing achievement.

Kane and Hugo are already legends. Harry has pretty much inherited the King of WHL title, and will be of the new Lane.
