Well, when you have choosen Spurs over Man U and when you remain with Spurs after a great season, you have the fucking right to be unhappy to sit on the bench, especially if the other strikers are not in your class. Last season, Eto'o refused to warm up. No one made a tragedy out of it.
Strawman much, Berbati? The exact reverse is true for Barca compared to us, Eto'o can afford to pull that kind of stunt because of his work ethic on the pitch, and more importantly, he has a cutting edge that their overly elaborate at times midfield is unable to supply. None of which is relevant to OUR situation, and you can hardly claim Berbatov has the almost maniacal desire to win that Eto'o posesses.
Our strikers are doing badly because of our midfield, and Berbatov has hardly lit the house up either with virtuso solo performances. So I don't get this uppity attitude. If he treats the club like a stepping stone to Manyoo we'll happily cash in and give him an almighty boot on the ass, thank you very much.
