Personally I think Nasri's tackle was more malicious and potentially career threatening. And I'd rather Charlie Adam was sacked than Suarez.

Yet everyone focuses on the pantomime villain even tho what he did, while shocking on the surface because its so mental, actually isn't all that dangerous in real terms

This is rubbish, bad tackles are part of football, whether genuinely mistimed or because of red mist, it's happened thousands of times all over the world. That doesn't mean they are right, but they are part and parcel of the game. What Suarez has done twice has no place in football, it's simply pathetic.

The only post worth reading from Blue Moon.

This summer Spurs need to twist or fuck off. They've got the makings of a very good side there, but there are certain areas they need to strengthen in, the main one being strikers. Defoe is a good option, but Adebayor is inconsistent. After that they've basically got no-one. Levy needs to actually forget about the balance sheet for once and splash a bit of cash around, all Spurs need is a few more players in key areas and they can cement their place as a top 4 side. Arsenal look like they will never be the team that brings in the big names, so they are vulnerable. City, United and Chelsea are probably going to be top 4 staples for a while (even if Chelsea miss out on the top 4 they will still spend big to bring in the best, can that be said of other sides who miss out?).

If Levy doesn't spend the money this summer he is essentially letting it be known to the Spurs fans and their players that he's happy with the status quo and has no real desire or ambition to push on and go for the top.

It's funny because Dortmund spanked their bottoms in the CL and have spent peanuts in the least few years, and have nurtured and developed great talent. There are other ways to writing blank cheques. Having said that - shell out for a striker Levy, you tight fisted git! lol...

Scouse forums will be packed with how Evra is a disgrace to football and should be banned, I guarantee that.

(Evra held up a fake arm and pretended to bite it)

Has the bloke got any suggestions where we should find the 150m we need to buy world class players for the various positions we need to strengthen ?

Was the arm thrown from the crowd? or did he quickly run to a fancy dress shop after the Suarez incident?

This really annoys me. No one knows why we haven't splashed the cash on a striker. There are several possibilities, perhaps we don't have the money or perhaps we couldn't sign the players we wanted or perhaps the terms were too unfair on us. What happens behind the scenes is never clear and too many people invent their own answers or believe someone elses unfounded claims.

I'm well aware who Adam plays for. Nasri doesn't play for Liverpool either, I wasn't talking about Liverpool exclusively

I have never argued Suarez shouldn't be banned. I just don't buy into the hysteria. He was a dick, as many other players have been in a variety of different ways

I liken it more to Rijkaard spitting in Voeller's ear. It's disgusting and that provokes a guttural reaction out of proportion with the offence. Why is biting worse than hitting or headbutting someone? They go on all the time on the pitch, just as unnecessary

I assumed this was fake. Even funnier now

Nobody knows why Adebayor has only scored 2 goals this season compared to the 17 and 11 he got last season. does it make it any more acceptable?
Football is a results industry.
