Yes a great finish from sarr but if the defender hadn’t got a touch and it went through to Richey and he scored wouldn’t he have been offside ?
Behind or level for me. And presumably must have been or Sarr's goal would have been chalked off anyway for Richy interfering with play in an offside position, causing Dunk to have to slide for it in the first place.

If you watch the replay it definitely looks to me like Richy was offside when Deki played the ball through to Sarr. He was then back onside when Sarr tried to play it across. To be honest I've no idea whether that's offside or not anymore!

Any refs on here?!

That’s not offside these days. As long as he doesn’t play the ball from Kulu or affect a defender playing the ball from Kulu, he didn’t interfere and there is a new offside line when Sarr crosses the ball

I refer you to 'Piltdown Man' on the 'North Stand Chat' forum, who says, and I quote:

"Fucking cheating deluded wankers 1978 WE NEVER FORGET Wanky wanking pricks. Hopefully one day that huge cock will fall off the toilet seat and flatten Son and Richarlison."

Now, admittedly, coherence isn't Piltdown's strongest point, but the key point there is '1978 WE NEVER FORGET' which is the year that Tottenham and Southampton were promoted to the top flight at Brighton's expense, as a result of drawing 0-0 against each other in the last game of the season.

Now, I'm not saying that game was fixed, but Brighton fans do, and I do recall an old quote from a Southampton forum to the effect that Alan Ball slapped one of his own players when they hit the post, so make your own minds up...

Anyway, that's why we are, in Piltdown's mind, and in the mind of other thesaurus-deficient Brighton fans, 'wanky wanking pricks'.

can't be the whole story, there must have been wanking involved somewhere...

Its society's easy cop out these days.

Decision made you don't like?
Ah that'll be the big corporate/governing body machine trying to keep us little guys in our place.

Everything's a fucking conspiracy these days and I find it really weird.

A few months ago there was someone in one of our match threads calling the officials corrupt.

We won the game.
It’s strange to say the least. The very least :D

It doesn't matter if Richarlison scored because they would still call it lucky. That's how it works. We scored it's lucky, opponents missing it's unlucky. If their own team scores its well deserved every time.

No. Plenty of head coaches though.

Piltdown Man was supposed to be the missing link but a complete fraud. This guy is going a long way to confirm it.

I’m shocked they thought the ref was on our side and that we were cheating. They were time-wasting from the 30th minute and have the gall to complain about an extra added minute.

Funnily enough, went to see the Spurs UEFA winning 40th anniversary tour last week. Roberts, Ardiles, Miller and Parks were chatting about the win and other stuff. That promotion season came up and Roberts had a slightly different take on it. He said it wasn’t due to both teams being promoted if they drew, but that several Southampton players had bets on the match. He said something along the lines of Southampton missed a chance, Roberts was worried and Ball went up to him and said ‘Don’t worry, we won’t be scoring against you today’ as a few of them had bets on.

There were a few groans in the audience when he said it but he swore by it. I think Roberts is known a bit for his, erm, exaggerations, so I won’t put my mortgage on that story being 100% accurate, but that’s what he said. Could be that Roberts was confused and it was to do with promotion.

Great show though. Ardiles is very funny. I only understood 4% of what he said but it was very funny.

Moral of the story is win your own matches and don't get all bitchy when a draw is enough for both teams to get promoted ahead of you
