There's a match thread now...
  • Just a reminder. Spurs, like Brighton, are a club who have a scam to rip off away fans by refusing to let them take bags into the stadium and then charge them to store the bags during the game.
  • Jesus man…are you going to a game of football or moving in?
  • coming from Manchester and would usually have my iPod, iPad and iPhone with me as well as food and a coat (if it gets cold). Thank you for your understanding (or not, dependent on whether you are being a tw*t, or not)
  • I had to store my rucksack at a newsagents near Waterloo for the Brentford match as I thought my rucksack would be too big to be allowed in
Consolidation opportunity missed.

Edit: A dislike from a user in Hong Kong? I wonder who they work for.., 😀👌

It’s kind of cool that you can find little figurines of a Bournemouth fan going to games though:

Poor guy forgot his Macbook Pro at home. Don't know how he managed to watch a football match without it.

There is no match thread yet, so I had a look in the PL chat from the last couple of game weeks.
  • I'd like to see Spurs get relegated as soon as possible.
  • Spurs were dreadful 1-0 up against 10 men and bottled it.......think Conte was right about them.................
  • Tottenham an absolute mess of a club, no motivation, no willingness to work hard.
  • Think that means Moura is suspended against us. Not usually a starter but had a big impact when he came on at Dean Court in October. May mean Danjuma is more likely to get some minutes…
  • I think it’s time for our first away win over Tottenham
  • That'll be 4 wins on the trot then....
  • Watching MOTD. Brighton absolutely robbed by var. Of course it’s not there to protect the big 6.
  • Those were not mistakes. That was clearly as bent as hell. They dont even hide it. How can someone look at the VAR replays and make those decisions?!?!
  • Spurs seem to get more than other big 6 going their way or it seems that way to me
  • The only people who think Spuds are top 6 is their own deluded fans
Spurs always seem to get more than other big 6 going their way?

The delusion…

I mean, you could probably argue that the big 6 is more of a big 5, but to dispute that Spurs are 'top 6' is bizarre given the current table and the fact we've only finished below 6th once since 2009.

  • 2-0.
  • BIGGEST MATCH IN PREMIER LEAGUE HISTORY INNIT
  • Kane will absolutely have his shithousery turned up to 11 for this one, snide ****. Can't wait for him to pull some shit with zero repercussions
  • Not looking forward to this in the slightest. Cannot be doing with all these games that have lots riding on them
  • 99.9% of me thinks this is us Spursing them up with a similar performance to Arsenal last season, Chelsea and Man United this season. 0.01% is knowing how disgustingly spawny they've been this season. The 99.9% should be everything but the 0.01% is glowing.
  • Biggest game of the season so far. Spurs look vulnerable but with their front 3 they can still beat anyone when it all clicks.
  • We should be able to overrun them in the midfield if they stick with their awful 3-4-3 with Hojbjerg and Skipprat.
  • Spurs are brittle man, get at them and they’ll fold
  • They are always liable to grab a goal with Kane and Son though so we need to stop pissing about early on and fully go for them.
  • Excited for our press on Loris and the howler he’s bound to have.
  • spurs have been playing bad all season yet are still in contention for CL somehow so I've given up on predicting their results
  • can’t wait for this like. Have hated Spurs forever and it’s the sort of game we’ve all been aching for 20 years
  • It massively favours us that Spurs are on the ropes.
  • Think this gutless Spurs squad has shown exactly what it's made of recently - lost leads at Soton, Everton and Bournemouth and Brighton should have turned them over too. Kane has strapped the whole club on his back and carried them all season from what I've seen. First goal is huge as always and I think we'll see a positive reaction from our lot. I think we'll win but I'd by lying if I said I'm not massively concerned with Son over the top/on the break. Next biggest threat to us after that is the ref/VAR bullshit.
  • Had a deek at a Spurs forum and lifting Saudi patter aside it's impressive how much they hate the players, Levy, Stellini and the club like. Made even funnier that the club, Levy, the players and Stellini hate the fans as well. Delightful stuff.
  • It's the perfect time to play them
  • Hate saying shit like this because its arrogant and could bite me in the arse, but we'll win this comfortably
  • A Spurs fan I know says he doesn't even want them to beat us. Thinks backing into a CL spot will just delay the reckoning that is coming. Hates watching them.

How sad that their fans can see all our failings and yet or coaches cannot?

Could be worse....we could be supporting and vindicating and absolutely horrendous regime that commits countless human rights abuses.

Div'nt matter tho cas the Toon are gan get Champuns League.

Honestly the way this lot have abandoned their principals or basic human eithics is absolutely pathetic.

Tbf, a lot of ours would be exactly the same if that sort of money was on the table. Sad as it is, the Toon have taken to ignoring the atrocities like ducks to water though.

I'm sure they believe they're justified in glossing over this because of the pain they endured under Freddie Shepherd and then Mike Ashley.

Oh I'm sure we would, but as you say they seem to not only have just instantly accepted it, but will conduct military grade whatabouttery to try and shut down any criticism.

That's what I find so disappointing about it. They seem to have gone from "It's a tricky situation" to completely sportswashed and vehemently defending their Saudi overlords in the blink of an eye.

I'm not sure who hates us more, opposing fans or our own fans at the moment.

Really don't want Newcastle getting CL. Would rather Villa pipped them but they have a tough run.

That's why we must never go down that road and accept blood money.

My in-laws are Newcastle season ticket holders. They suffered for years under Ashley and are so over the moon he's gone and the moneybags lot are in that they've lost all perspective. But long term, Newcastle's owner will ruin the club far more than Ashley.

Not everyone- I know plenty and they are conflicted- they do point out Saudis invest in many other U.K. industries and Disney and nobody seems to mind that so should they boycott their club? Should everyone else boycott Disney? I’m not.

There was a demo against sportswashing fans organised when they played City.

I feel this would be worse for me than arsenal winning the league.

A Saudi sports-washing project, based on lies about the connections between PIF and the Saudi government, is really unpalatable when you factor in the abhorrent regime

The idea they're going to secure a spot at the top table, and the commentators will largely ignore the elephant in the room is going to be even more sickening to have to put up with.
