It is our FIRST ever Champions League campaign.

We have made it to the Quarter Finals of the most prestigious competition in WORLD FOOTBALL. We've knocked out AC Milan. Not only beat but ran all over the current holders Inter Milan. We've beaten FC Twente, champions of Holland and recent champions of Germany, Werder Bremen...

This competition as well as our Premiership season has put Gareth Bale on the map as one of the greatest footballers today.

Last year, Crouch scored that goal which got us into the Champions League qualifiers and then if that wasn't enough, he scored the hat-trick that got us out of deep shit from Young Boys to put us through into the groups...

Dont get me wrong, I feel we need a world class striker and we need to possibly get rid of two or three players but all this talk of Harry out, Crouch fucked it, its time for him to go... What are you saying?

Crouch let us down last night but really whats happened here is that angry and upset supporters have come on and spoke about how its all his fault, off with him and never see him in a spurs shirt again please. Get a grip. I'm upset and wondering why Crouch had done something like that and that his experience should of taken over and known not to of dived in but only the weak start saying such fickle things such as what's been said.

We've come so far from where we were 2 years ago. People would of laughed if I told them we would be in the Champions League Quater Finals 2 years from now. Yes, we lost 4-0 to one of the best teams in the world but if its any team thats going to come back from 4-0 down... Its Tottenham.

From this loss comes so much gain, you wouldn't even know. Last year, we lost to Portsmouth in the Semi Finals of the F.A. Cup and we came back from that game stronger. than. ever. What ever happens from this day forward is a lesson that every single Spurs player, Manager and even (hopefully) us fans can take from a game like yesterdays.

I wrote this because I'm so so proud of Tottenham. We didn't deserve to lose 4-0 but we did and unfortunately thats the reality of it but its not finished. Remember that.

I hope someone can agree with me and also hold their head up high and know that we've come so far and no matter what happens, its been a success either way and we've benefitted from this in so many ways, I cant even describe.

I think it was the manner of the defeat yesterday more than anything. But I swear half of our fans would be saying "Harry out"" even if we beat Real on Wednesday and lose in the tie against Barca/Shakhtar.

I'm not too upset about last night. It was a dissapointing night but we've done great to get so far. I still hope we beat them at home just so we can say we beat Inter, Milan and Real Madrid in our first CL season.

I'm dissapointed over the inability to put the lesser sides in the league to bed. For that reason we wont be back in the CL next season. Shame.

It was our defeat after our run of form in the league. Pretty much all down to not getting a better striker in than what we have.

19 goals scored against us, 13 goals by us in 13 games in 2011. Even if we kept AC Milan at bay for 120 minutes that doesn't paper over the facts about our form recently.

Still, I am proud of Spurs but I just want to know what's been going on recently.

That is the single reason why I am like a bear with a sore head all the time at the moment. We have taken our eye off the bread and butter which is the PL this season, and that is just not on. All season we have been dropping silly points. You only earn the right to play the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid, etc, by doing the business at home first. We have failed to do that this season, and with the squad we got it was all very achievable.....

I agree with everything that you said except the highlighted bit.

We really did deserve to lose 4-0.

But otherwise decent post and echoes my sentiments, even if today I am struggling to get a grip on reality, though in my defence I only got back from Madrid at 5.15 this morning and am still at work now, having copped a fair amount from pretty much the entire company.

Echoing those that are saying the response isn't about last night - it's about the league performances over the last few weeks.

Were we sitting 6-9 pts better off in 3rd or 4th place and last night happened, you'd have far fewer barely intelligible rants.

It's the fact we shot ourselves in the foot after a fantastic journey

The Spurs team need to see our feelings today and hopefully that might light a fire under their asses for once
