realistically, they only check you out briefly, so dump it in a bag full of other crap...bits of paper, a phone, a bottle of tap water to divert the attention away from the camera and onto the bottle itself, etc etc, and you have a chance.

Or phone somebody at Wembley...?

that would be the easy thing to do... chances are ill be on hold for an hour and be transfered to about 100 diff departments via bombay to get the reply

"we dont know".

i read the t&c's on the wembley site...

says all audio/audio visual equipment is banned for copyright reasons...

im suprised they aint banned mobile cameraphones yet!

It's a bit silly really, how can you copyright live football when you're actually there?

They sell the rights to the photo's so they don't want people undermining that. It's the rights to the images that they wish to protect.

I think things like that have a blanket ban on what they deem 'professional' camera equipment, and by this they usually mean anything with a removable lens... So regardless of the fact that the majority of dslrs are not professional cameras, Wembley would probably consider one to be...

So just take photo's of yourself and your mates they aren't copywrite. Mind you God knows what you will get in the background accidentally:whistle:
Surely the copywrite ought only to stop you selling your pictures on or has the world truly gone mad?

when i went to the spurs-sr5ena1 game. spurs staff told me i wouldnt be able to use my camera once inside the game. in the event it was fine, i was too busy celebrating to take any photos but i think the rule itself is ridiculous. we've paid for our tickets why cant we take photos to commemmorate the occasion?

Yeah, there will be a blanket ban on "professional" cameras... which to the bibs will mean anything "big"... but as Kabir says, stick it with a bag full of other crap scarf, newspaper etc... and u should be fine...

i'd just take a compact tho...

tbh your not gonna be able to get close enough or bring a big enough lens to take any pictures of the play that'll be half decent (i'm sure they'll be plenty floating around afterwards at hi-res anyway) and photos of you and your mates around Wembley don't really need to be taken on a DSLR...

I went to the community shield final last year and took my DSLR in, never questioned it once. No way I'm taking it this time though, I'll be concentrating on the football.

dont know if its the same donw there as up here, but any camera with a removable lense will normaly be taken off you or one that has a big zoom, due to it being a profesiannal camera apparently, even though new small digital ones can do the same

if you want to try it, wrap the camera up in some clothes, most likley they will ahve a look in, and maybe give it a squeese and just feel clothes and let you in... or it has worked in the passed
