Hi all,
I am not sure it should be post here but I need some help. I am a Spurs fan from Hong Kong. When I ordered kits, clothes etc from Spurs online shop the VAT would be deducted from the displayed price, which is in accordance to term 13 of terms and conditions:
"13. Tax Free Shopping
For overseas customers outside the EC
If we dispatch your order to an address outside the EC or to Jersey and Guernsey, we will automatically deduct UK Value Added Tax included in most of the prices displayed. Currently it is 20% and is added to all goods except children's clothing, programmes and magazines that are tax free."
However in my recent order they charged me the displayed price without the deduction, I sent an email to customer service and they claimed that they updated the website and pricing to offer an improved shipping experience at a much lower cost overall. I don't think the cost is lowered as I am paying for a higher price. Is there any change in VAT policies in UK?
