SO very happy for him, but it's also kinda heartbreaking since he really should have lifted a trophy or two with us. We were quite close to winning the league, the CL and the carabao cup when he was an integral part of our squad, too bad we always find a way to mess everything up.

Granted we made the finals, but those finals were so one sided it was embarrassing.

One of the forgotten about Poch problems was his refusal to take cup competitions seriously in comparison to the league.

For me, I would imagine this mainly came from Levy. If he was told to take them seriously, even at the risk of losing a top 4 spot, I think he would have done.

I'm not sure about that. Poch regularly used to respond to questions that the league was the priority at all times. Some of his team selections were clearly designed to rest key players. Also, Son at left wing-back...

Yeah, I think Poch probably did this as he was told by Levy that the league was the priority.
