If we've signed Ade, do we really think that we'll get another top striker to play up there with him? I think a wide forward is much more likely. Someone like Remy.
Unless AVB wants to play 4-4-2
I would fucking hope so, we need depth in the squad and if Ade picks up an injury we're up shit street and also there's the ANC next year that Togo might be in.
Also don't forget that Harry has left us now, so our days of non squad rotation are well and truly over.
If you're going to be a top team in the top flight of World football then you need to have two top strikers on your books as a minimum, regardless of your formation (unless you're Barcelona of course).

I don't mind the VDV rumours too much, i can't see him going this season as frankly his value has to be around the £25m mark in Levy's mind and no-one will be paying that. What it does do is that it opens up the door for his move next summer if he's not fitting in with the AVB master plan - which i have a feeling he might not.
