Just scored again for MK dons, they’ve been poor and are losing 1-3 but parrot has been their best player.

Good finish

(sky sports for anyone interested)

Brilliant!

That makes it (so far):

42 appearances all competitions
9 goals
6 assists

He's certainly ending his loan on a high note. They still have the 2nd half to go, so hopefully he can get a couple more goals in and score his 1st professional hat-trick.

If he'd not had that dry patch in the middle of the season and was in the same form he has been lately he'd have 20 odd goals. Bodes well

I don’t even mind the dry patch, it’s part of the process - one that not many attacking players manage to get out of. Just hope he keeps the same attitude to work hard and we get to see him in our squad soon.

Hopefully he can show himself in pre season.

Either he can part of the first team or get a loan to a Championship team.

He won’t be good enough for our first team on his mk performances.

best we can hope for is a championship loan and hopefully with MK

The same way Harry Kane was never gonna be good enough for our first team based on his Leyton Orient, Millwall & Leicester performances.

Will never be good enough for the first team. Championship player at best.

Did I say he’ll never be good enough?

I’m a mk ST holder and have seen 90% of there games and while Troy works hard he’s extremely shy in getting into striker positions. He’s constantly dropping back or going wide.
In fact all his best performances have been from wide.

He’s definitely stepped up from his loans last season but he’s not going to suddenly become a option for us next season imo.
With luck MK go up and he stays next year in the championship.
Watched them v Sheffield Wed who looked a lot physically stronger than MK. Lot of young lads in the MK team.

Yea mk are a weak physical team. They rely on outplaying teams to which works well 80% of the time but still struggling with more physical sides

It’s impossible to post because it is so long but there is a great interview with him on the Athletic today. He really opens up to the interviewer about lots of things. I’m sure parts will be picked up by other publications but if you’re a subscriber then it’s worth a read over your lunch.

I'm eternally optimistic that he'll impress Conte during pre-season and earn his spot in the team. Then again, there's really no rush in Troy's case. Another season at MK Dons ( hopefully once they've been promoted) would also be a great step in his development. My dream scenario in that instance would be Parrott and Etete on loan at MK Dons for a season, just for the obvious Crouch and Keano comparisons.

Someone at QPR has been reading my posts

" A Spurs source has told Football Insider that discussions are being led by QPR Under-23s head coach Paul Hall. He is targeting rising stars with the potential to make an impact in the Championship and among those he is keen on are believed to be strikers Troy Parrott and Kion Etete, and midfielder Harvey White.
