An off-topic conversation is brewing in the Llorente Player Watch thread about Parrott's eligibility in the PL and CL so I thought I'd take it here. People are mentioning that he must be here for two seasons to be registered for a List B spot on the roster for the CL.
"A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 1998 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA."

Hasn't he been here for two seasons? I thought he signed in the summer 2017 window.

he didn't officially become a spurs player until he turned 16, which was feb 2018. so going by that he wouldn't be eligible for list b, at least not for the first half of the season anyway.

I think that's right. Reference to it here.

As per FIFA Article 19, which deals with the transfers of those under 18 and the protection of minors, Parrott cannot sign officially with the north London club until he turns 16.

He can however be registered to the B list once he turns 18 on the 4th Feb 2020.

Each club is entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season. The list must be submitted by no later than 24.00CET on the day before the match in question.

Looked very promising again today. Hope he continues to get minutes in friendlies and hopefully gets proper playing time in the league cup this year.

He’s better than a few odd league cup appearances. 100% ready and pretty much our best player in the first half. A bit of a freak at 17. Not sure I’ve ever seen a striker at 17 show the maturity to hold up the ball and link play like he has. Apart from Rooney I’m really struggling to think of one. And even Rooney wasn’t so much about holding up play and playing like a 25 year old. Rooney was more spectacular but I think Troy has that in his locker just not seen it yet. Anyone else think of another 17 year old to show that maturity ?

I agree coys2000, his maturity and game intelligence is amazing for a 17 year old striker.

I actually feel the same way about Skipp, they both seem to have maturity way beyond their years. Bodes very well for their development.
