Trippier kept Walker out of the Spurs team at the back end of last season and now he wants the England right-back position.

With Pochettino's track record with fullbacks I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all to see Trippier involved with England relatively soon.

I suspect Tripper will soon be England's right back. His delivery to Kane will make him preferable to.Walker.

I am not sure Southgate thinks like that. Assuming Walker stays fit at City, then Walker will be the England RB for his pace, certainly going into the WC.

I was a big Walker fan, but ow that he is gone, I really hope Trippier can step up and take his England place as well, because I like player synergies and lawys think National squds do better if you are not second guessing your team mates.

That said we were por in the Euros, but I attribute that to the Spurs players being knackered and England not having enough ball retention in the Midfield (i.e. England need a Dembele and an Eriksen, oh and unfortunately also a Jan and a Toby).
