Ah the 3rd year of my outrageous predictions. After a sucessful first year, I fared none too well last year. I was correct with one (we'd win at least 2 games against the top 4) and close with 2.. Huddlestone got a call up but alas no cap and we won the CC not the UEFA. Close isn't good enough though. The rest i was way off; Chelsea didn't win the league, Berbatov wasn't top scorer and didn't win PFA and we were nowhere near 5th.

I'm not put off. In fact i have extended the list this year to 10 and will put my money where my mouth is. If I get less than 6 right, I will donate £10 to SC for the running of the site FOR EACH ONE I GET WRONG (on top of the £10 i would normally pledge). In return if i get 6 or more right i just want some positive rep?!

1) a spurs player (player has to play for us untill Jan or From jan to end of season) will be shortlisted for the senior player of the year award, but will not win
2) Ledley king will play 35+ games for us
3) Both Berabtov and Keane will score agaisnt us but Keane will never be on the winning side
4) at least one of Spurs strikers will score more goals than Keane
5) despite Berbatov signing for them utd will not retain the league. (1st Chelsea, 2nd Utd)
6) spurs will quailify for CL in 4th place
7) Bostock will start or be used as sub in a minimum of 25 first team games for Spurs.
8) Tainio will string a run of 12 games in a row without getting injured
9) Garth Bale will score 4 or more direct free kicks
10) Spurs will contest a cup final.

Wish me luck

He's just left. Unless you mean with Sunderland?

I mean what i wrote. Tianio 12 games in a row.

But yes i did know he's off, not likely to get 12 in a row at Spurs. Not likely you'd think with his injury record to get 12 anywhere though.

they're not meant ot be easy predictions. I love the way you pull that one but don't question us getting 4th :)

I think the only likely ones are no.4 and possibly 10. But its hard as we dont who will be in our strikeforce next season.. but i think even bent could do it :)

I'd put my money on 9) if anything. If 2) comes true i will be very bloody pleased.

Tricks, if 6 and 10 are right I will pay off your debt. I so hope your right, Bostock I will say no chance, but then Bale was same age last year and was arguably our best player before being injured.

Actually having thought about it and re-readthe prediction , with 7 subs that is actually a good call.

All of them wrong eh? I think i'm gonna get 8/10 right. But if i don't get at least 6 then I will hand the money to rob with a cheery grin safe in the knowledge that my predictions for next season will still have a website to be posted in.

If #2 comes true, #6 will happen too.

Yeah It's unlikely it'll be a 5/5 split as a few are likely to affect the outcome of others. If King plays the games and we finish 4th there a good chance he would be the player short listed for the PFA. But things like keane to score but Liverpool not to beat us can be iscolated from any of the other things being right or wrong. Teemu managing 12 starts on the bounce is another one.

Bale scoreing 4 free kicks... i'm not sure many players score 4 free kicks per season in world football even if they take every single one. At spurs Bale is likely to share them with Modric and maybe bentley.

I'm either going to be donating lots of money or I'm going to be a glorious predictorer.

You're probably right actually with Bale and free kicks. I just remember every single one he took in the short time he played last year seemed to be on target. If he stays fit he'll be a star this season for definite.

I was tempted to put that he'd scored direct from an in swinging corner. but i don't think he will.

I predict Bale to be a huge disappointment.

And us to finish 8th. Tops.

Bostock will feature in maximum five matches, Tainio more likely to be nominated player of the year than any of our boys. Berbatov will win it though as he almost single-handedly takes United to a magnificent quadruple.

We'll lose three semi finals, wont qualify for europe and Ledley King will retire.

Come this time next year we'll be a Russian club.

Sorry guys.
