Thought this stat was interesting. Obviously I take it with a bit of salt but if we could get him on a loan with an option I'd be pleased. Puts us completely in the driver seat to see if he gets time with us, makes an impact, and can reassess next Summer. Plus being HG gives us more flexibility for an attacking player, which I'm not too high on many of the HG options there.

I don't think it will happen due to the relationship with Chelsea and him wanting clear playing time, but if it were to happen I would back it.

I think those stats aren’t representative, as he doesn’t start the big games - he’s rotated in for the ones they expect to dominate and win.

Agree about the central role as we really dont have a Dier rotation and in my view Dier is vital in that defence. Not sure Chalobah though would be someone we would be comfortable rotating his position with.
Clement Lenglet can also play central.

I’d be happy with Chalobah in for Tanganga, given the dearth of other home-grown options.

Chalobah on a permanent deal would be a very good signing. He's a good player with a lot of potential. On loan, yeah, makes no sense.

Decent player, a lot going for him, Chelsea unlikely to deal with us and while good as a squad/rotational player, not the Bastoni type we are looking for at the minute.
