Hi all, I am travelling from Singapore to Canada and will be having a 10-hour layover in Heathrow Airport (estimated arrival time in London: 5.15am GMT, 25 Dec).

As this is my first time in UK, may I know if I have sufficient time to travel from the airport to visit White Hart Lane for a stadium tour etc though I understand that it is Xmas and everyone is spending time with their family. If the trip to WHL is unrealistic or not worth it due to it being closed, are there any other recommended activities for me to do in this 10 hour period?

I'm pretty sure there won't be any stadium tours until after the 27th (which is a bank holiday here).

The tube from Heathrow takes about 40 minutes to get into central London, or you can get the Heathrow Express which takes about 15 minutes (but is much more expensive) so you should have time to go and have a look around.

I suspect most stuff will be closed though so you may struggle to keep yourself entertained.

Er, not much to do as its Christmas Day and it is the one day in the year when the nation basically shuts down. I'm pretty sure there are no trains, underground (subway) or buses running. You might be lucky and be able to get a taxi into central London to do a bit of sightseeing but cabbies will be charging a fortune that day; but as I said every where will be closed in any case. Sporty!

Actually yeah the tube won't be running.

So I'd buy yourself a big book and a bottle of vodka and enjoy your 10 hours at Heathrow.
