Hi chaps.
I will be travelling alone from the west to spurs for the inter match. Only got 1 ticket so will be on my J's.

I booked some coaches ages ago incase i got a ticket and the return coach is 11pm from victoria.

my question is, shall i risk it? i know travelling from WHL is awful, so will i make the coach at victoria for 11pm after the match?

as i havent been to the lane for a number of years i thought i should ask for your advice.

i got the coach tickets for a £1 each way!

other options are to drive all the way to WHL but where to park?

please help out as i dont wanna mess my trip up!
cheers

I travel on my own a lot from cardiff. What time does inter game finish? It's 9.45 isn't it? If so, I would say you could be struggling to make it back unless you leave a few minutes early. I get the coaches a lot to/from Victoria when I go see the yiddos - you may be ok, but....you also might not be!
Defo leave a few mins early if you wanna make it back for the 11pm bus

If you are fit leave dead on full time and run to severn sisters tube... TFLs journey planner has seven sisters to victoria down at 25 mins. even if you dont run but walk quickly you should get there....just...

Driving up from and back to the west country must be a nightmare around the M25 and then trying to park especially when you are trying to make a time (ko) so the victoria bus sounds best. As the man says, you probably need to leave a bit early, time the walk from seven sisters and asume the same going back.
Not much help I guess but that'd be my preference: is it really £1 each way on the bus? that's amazing, makes it worth coming up to town for a night out, a show or something.:)

Are you in Park Lane? That would save you a few mins. Jumping on a bus at Bruce grove might save u some time. Or getting a train from WHL is quick if you time it right!

I've done it from an evening kick off before, but yes, it's quite tight and requires you leaving BANG on full time and being fairly fit!

No - we will clamp you!!!!

Seriously though, I work for the housing association that runs the keyworker accomodation. And at least during the day, the clampers are quite strict - but i'll check again tomorrow with some of the managers.

I've done the 11pm coach a few times and missed it once. That was more down to the fact I was drunk and me and my mates were waiting at the wrong coach point!

You have to leave bang on time, walk very very quickly and not stop for anything.

I reckon you'll be alright if you're quick about getting to Seven Sisters. It's pretty quick from there to Victoria, just don't get caught in the crowd

The immediate instinct is to jump on the overhead.

DONT

Leave on 86 minutes. Leg it to Seven sisters station. Straight to Victoria.

All that way to leave 5 minutes early?
The game starts at 7:45 so should be finished at 9:45.
I suppose the problem is the queue getting out of the ground and then at Seven Sisters so leaving before the final whistle is probably the best idea. However I'd risk waiting until near the 90th minute.
Leg it from Seven Sisters to the Lane and then you'll know how long the return journey will be. I presume you need to be on a tube by 10:15. It sounds like you can do it.

However I'd probably drive and stay, soak up the atmosphere at the end (hopefully a good 'un), watch the players warm down and get kicked out of the near empty stadium by the stewards.

Leave the lane early or book yourself in to one of the cheap B&Bs in Victoria.

I used to travel from weymouth when i was in england, we would drive down to the game and park a good 20-25 minute walk from the ground near a school in enfield always got home easy, if i was you mate get the bus stay till kick off tell the bus driver you could be 5 minutes late dont miss important part of a game for the sake of that you can make it

My top tip is not to bring your sheep with you. You won't be allowed to take it into the stadium.

Or your combine harvester.

Are you allowed to drive tractors on motorways? Also your pitchfork may get confiscated at the turnstiles.
