The city game, and the three that follow, have taken on great importance. We need to beat city to have any hope of starting the nee year still ahead of them, yesterday was a chance and we blew it. Fulham and Blackburn away, there is a lot if pressure on those now. Less than four points there will be a disaster.

Not great games to have that sort of importance placed on them, either... We traditionally don't do well at Fulham, or against Fat Sam's Anti-Football... Hopefully the importance of winning after picking up 2 points from what should have been 9 will provide added incentive...

It does make me laugh. One game doesn't make a season does it, lets get a bit of perspective here. We aren't going to win every game we play, we aren't going to outplay every team we come up against. That's football. We all have days where we do stuff and it doesn't work, football is magnified x1000 because it allows us to take our frustration/enjoyment out accordingly.

OK we couldn't score on Saturday, but it wasn't through the lack of trying, we wasn't beaten soundly we were just unlucky. Wolves had a gameplan and executed it perfectly. If we went away to say OT, scored early and held on for a 1-0 win, we'd all be praising Harry.

Nothing in this thread mentions the superb performance away at Villa, or the way we outplayed Everton at their place, banging in 5 at hull, No all we (I use the royal we) tend to do is find the bad points and magnify them x1000.

We're 5th FFS, still well in touch. A blip, that's all it was and no doubt there will be more, but all those doom mongers need to grab a bit of perspective. That's football.

To lose at home to Wolves started the bells ringing in my ears. Its not just one of those games because I thought that was Stoke City. On both occation we were what-less in attack. To much emphasis put on Defoe to come up with the goals and again players passing on responsibility and not taking control of the game.Redknapp has taken us forward from Ramos but results like we had against Wolves and Stoke AT HOME is alarming.

thank god someone gets it. It is not just one game. It is the bloody team the manner they played. And i would say everton and villa both played bad more than we were fantastic. Villa showed that v man u. We are now very much on a downward trend.
