I try not to judge too heavily on preseason but based on this first half AND the first half of last season the Skipp/Højbjerg axis is definitely our weakest midfield combo. Either with Bentancur would be fine, either with Bissouma will probably be fine, but both together just doesn't click.

All 3 CMs have been absolutely woeful today. On the ball and off it. Outside of that tackle Skipp put in on Lamela (where he lost the ball originally anyways, now that I think of it), we might as well be playing with 9.

Saw this against the K League team too though. We drop back and our midfielders are on top of the defence. Once the ball gets laid back our midfielders have too much distance to make up.
