Somebody explain why walker was still on the pitch at the end. Bag of shit all night. Freedom of the pitch but zero end product. With the space on that side of the pitch the game was crying out for somebody like tripper who can put a good ball in. Poch subs as ever weren't great. Why give janssen 2 minutes. 11 v 11 I think we get the result to take us through. We gave away both the goals we conceded but we dominated the match. All in all our European performances this season have been shocking but this was one of our better ones and both Kane and Son should have taken their chance and we'd have been through.

On the bright side, at least the fixture list gets a little less congested.

We've had a terrible mentality tonight. So petulant, they've lost their focus and concentration once again because things weren't going their way.

We desperately need a REAL captain, a REAL leader. Lloris isn't up to the job.

Second half mentality was great, untill Dier shit his pants.

To be fair I thought our 10 men gave that a decent go with the odds against them for the first 30 mins of the second half, however at the point we made the Dembele sub we seemed to lose our rhythm and momentum and then the killer blow happened and disappointingly we started to have a bit of a temper tantrum again. Even then we had opportunities in the closing stages, but it was too late by then.

The seeds were sown though with that rancid first leg where we lost pathetically without getting the away goal, it only takes a moment after that like a set piece (two with the sending off...) and you're bang up against it. Need to show a much better attitude and intensity in future.
