Ok, now that it seems Verts is off in Jan and given that he was shown up against Chelsea, maybe Dier could be grafted in? Eriksen may need a rest, so might Mason and if we play these full backs they can overlap and add width against Palace:

Lloris
Naughton Dier Fazio Rose
Lamela Bentaleb Stambouli Chadli
Kane
Soldado

Why do people keep putting stambouli in there team when he is so obviously not in Pochs premier league plans right now

As my old nan used to say...

Red sky at night, shepherd's delight.
Red sky in morning, sailor's warning
Colin Wanker, Home banker.

So, a home win it is then.

For those slightly mystified by my nan's reference to 'Colin Wanker', just rearrange the letters to find the name of the current Crystal Palace manager...

Most important game of the season so far for me. They have to show that the match vs Everton wasn't a fluke/one-off and this is a home match against a side threatened with relegation. If we play the same way like against Everton, we should fuck them up.

A home loss would be beyond disastrous.

I hope Warnock continues with two forwards, a more open game will suit us.

Knowing our luck he'll drop one of the forwards and put in Joe Ledley to flood the middle and sit deep lol.

That said, if we get anywhere near the level of Sunday we're winning this, and probably pretty comfortably.

Lets hope that's the case.

3-0.

Never thought I would see the day where we were worried about the prospect that Joe Ledley might play!

Erm....not really.

Erm what do you mean? You don't think so, or you know so?
Be interested to know. Personally, I'm not overly impressed with his recent form and attitude.

I know it's only media gossip, but I can see him leaving tbh.

You said "it seems Verts is off in Jan". There's little evidence for that and even now you're saying it's just media gossip.

If we're going to give The Great Dane a rest, I'd like to see what the Llama can do from the middle.

It's been far better than at the end of last season IMO.

True, it has. But I'm just beginning to really watch his play and not just assume he's doing well as I was before and I've got to admit, he's regularly not anticipating the forward's movement and getting caught out. If he does go, at leasy Moreno should be lined up so hopefully he'll be more solid.

At 10? I'd rather keep Kane there supporting Soldado for a while as they form a partnership. Maybe in Europa tho.
