Pav has to be the striker to stay if it comes down to choosing.

Thought our passing was good when Kranjcar came on as well, between him Modders and Pav. As soon as Kranjcar came on he just whipped a ball to Lennon who was out wide for what was the first time in the half he was the able to run at the LB. Such a shame it's looking like he's off.

What an exciting climax to the season at the top and bottom of the Premiership, mainly at the bottom where the relegation zone changed several times during today's games and we now know that Birmingham, Blackpool and West Ham have gone down. Liverpool lost to Villa, Chelsea lost to Everton, Arsenal only managed a draw.

So glad we got all three points today and clinched 5th place. No point in saying "if only" or crying over spilt points - we all know what we could and should have done and we all know what Harry and the Board have to do for next season to get us back into the CL and further than the last eight, which wasn't a bad achievement for a first attempt.

Pav is doing his best to show Harry that he wants to stay - two good goals today. Defoe's not up to it and I now wonder if he will stay and get his form back, perhaps not if we buy a new striker or two.

It's been an incredible roller coaster of a season and I'm already having withdrawal symptoms but at least my fingers won't be getting nibbled for a few months.

Birmingham deserve to go down on that performance. They were negative and that cost them.

As for us I worry that we do not score enough against teams parking the bus. Had Birmingham not needed the win in the last few minutes, we would not have got the 2nd goal.

On a side note how good was Danny Rose? Good in the tackle, useful deliveries and an ability to beat players. Looks promising.

i'd be happy if pav stayed and we got rest of the strikers. i'd drive defoe to west ham! with 2 brilliant strikers coming in and pav, we'd be nicely set up!

None of the strikers are anywhere near good enough and anybody who wishes to keep PAV even after his two goals today, well good luck to them.

He is woeful, fucking can't stay on his feet and any sort of contact and he's on the floor, his touch is awful and his passing isn't that great either.

Anybody with a bit of intelligence and football ability should get just as many goals over a season as ANY of our strikers have.
