Gooner mate at work started by saying 'ready to get smashed tomorrow' then went on to say they're probably going to get battered. Don't know how to deal with so many Gooners expecting to not only lose but badly!

This season Mauricio has shown us what he's really all about and come the end of the season I believe he'll make the changes necessary in order for him to have a whole squad of players of his choosing, capable of ruling the Premiership and even Europe for quiet a while.
The significance of a win tomorrow is behemothic and would put us firmly at the top of the London teams whilst destroying the confidence of our oldest and most vile enemy, arsenal.
TO DARE IS TO DO.

Henry got it right, here...

“They could not take their chance to go top of the table on Wednesday night but that does not mean they bottled it at Upton Park,” Henry added.

“If there is ever such a thing as an acceptable defeat, losing 1-0 in a local derby away to a very impressive West Ham team — who boast an excellent record against all the big clubs — was surely it. Tottenham had won their previous six games before Wednesday’s defeat.

Must not believe all this negative talk coming out of Arsenal. They will still take a lot of beating. Must kick them harder when they are down.

They played some good football for 60mins against Swansea until Wenger inexplicably took Campbell off. They hit the woodwork multiple times and had loads of chances; just didn't take them and paid for it.

They are mentally weak and couldn't force through the 'it's gonna be one of those days' feeling like we did against Swansea.

Tomorrow is a different game altogether though and we all know these can go either way.

Hopefully we get a good hold on the game in the first 10mins and knock them back into their gloom and keep their fans quiet and dominate the atmosphere...and then crush them...and rip out their lungs and stomp on their fucking bones!!! *ahem*:cautious:

That's a shame. I was really looking forward to your balanced and well-thought out contributions to the Match Thread.
