Tottenham have told Mauricio Pochettino they won’t be re-hiring him as manager, according to reports. Daniel Levy is currently on the lookout for a replacement for Antonio Conte, who lost his job in north London last week. However, it appears one of the favourites for the job won’t be rocking up in the capital.

It wouldn't surprise me if Poch isn't coming back though.

I doubt we're in the business of snubbing anyone right now.
Agree 100%. Seems incredibly unlikely that you'd tell any worthy candidate that they wouldn't get the job until you were absolutely sure at least a couple of candidates would definitely take the job !

That's a reasonable surmise, although if the relationship between Poch and Levy is anything like we've been led to believe, I'm sure that he's been open and honest with him as to where he stands (even assuming that Poch wants to come back).

Always try to be positive and always hope for the best but knowing Spurs it will probably go something like this, End of the season Potter will get sacked, Chavs will get Nagelsmann, we'll hire Potter on the last day of pre season.

Stand by your stations. Brendon Rogers has just been sacked. Any imaginary monetary amount you like that he'll be linked in the next 48 hours!
This would be close to the end for me. I’ll never stop supporting the club, but my relationship with it would change significantly if Rogers was appointed.

I'd say so but surely Levy will have learned his lesson on burnt out managers after Nuno?

Nagelsmann will join Chelsea and we will soak up Graham Potter….
I’ll duck and take cover, but I wouldn’t be super upset at this. I think longterm it maybe fine.
If we want things to be different, then we probably need to do things a little differently than the past 5 years.
Potter needs time. I firmly believe that who ever we get will need time to build. Potter has a philosophy and is very Poch like in the timing of his career. He just made the wrong move with Chelsea. I’d be fine with him picking up our boys. JN I just feel will already think he’s too big for us. I’m done with that situation.

I’m all for a project manager however, not one that has struggled to get his teams to score goals. It’s a big x against his name.
