AVB is one unhappy puppy in that interview

I feel so sorry for AVB, he looks like his friend has just stabbed him in the back. Hope he can shake this off and not be too down about it.
AVB may not say it explicitly but he definitely sounds disappointed in that interview.
Andre. Is. Pissed. Off.

Example @ 12:30.

He was just able to hide it quite well (for the most part).

On a positive note: the clips they show of the boys training really does show positive team spirit and unity. :) (y)

We could have just said NO at the beginning of the summer and kept him.

Suarez and Rooney still at their clubs.

I do hope we sign a playmaker. My only worry.

Do you think they still would be if RM offered £85 m for either of them ?
I am not so sure
I agree AVB looks a little down beat but perhaps he feels let down by the player and not the club

I understand why he's going, it would just be nice to keep our world class players for a change.

Bale with our current squad could win the title. It's the superstars who make the difference in the big games.

And do you think they still would be if any club had offered a world record transfer fee?

I found his interview very interesting around 3m 50s when he was asked about Lamela,Eriksen and Vlad........he said that they were interested in strengthening areas in the team and they would be looking at those players and other players who would be coming in the next few days.

Just seen snippets of AVB press conference for the first time - thought he was a class act - and looked more serious than usual.
I like the way he says that if we get 'certain' targets we will be stronger than lasy year (certainly one of the Lamela), and if we don't then it's a maybe - very methodical thinking.
Also enjoyed his rational rant about Townsend, Huddle, Livermore - England selection.
Has anyone got a link / download to the full conference?
