Great work doing this thread @carpediem991. It would be really interesting to see minutes played captured as well - this would facilitate minutes per goal contribution. Might be something to consider next season? (totally cheeky request so feel free to ignore!)

Thanks for the nice words. I understand it would get more detailed with the minutes but I don't feel like I want to do that. Actually transfermarkt has that for everyone who is interested in more details.

That's our front 4 isn't it? Main question is whether we go for:
Moura: with his pace, work rate, pressing and dribbling; or
Dele: with his finishing, runs into the box and incisive short passing

For me, Moura's the right shout for now

But the numbers of those top two - wow. Basically scoring as many they assist. Crazy

Lucas seems a very good fit for the top three. Busy running, nicking the ball and creating space worked out really well the last month.
And the alternative for me is not Dele but Lamela. He comes very close to the attributes Lucas has but Erik has been a bit unlucky with the goals & assists so far. If there would be a category "heavily involved but neither goal or assist" I am sure Erik would be up there like he was yesterday for the first and on Sunday for the fourth.

Btw:

Kane needs just three more points to have his most productive season ever!
Son already has surpassed all numbers he contributed the years before.

I think I’d go as far as to say that against all but the least threatening opposition, it’s becoming either Dele central and Lamela wide, or Lucas central with Bale wide.

I do not make a difference. Goal contribution is goal contribution here. Sometimes big work before a tap in is worth more praise. So both counts the same to me in here.

It’s probably just that Reguilón was one ahead at some point so there was no point sealing them round.
