Tottenham appear to have won the race to sign wonderkid striker Troy Parrott after he uploaded an Instagram message putting on his kit at the club’s training ground.

I appreciate he is relatively unknown, but you'd hope a website/football magazine called "Football Insider" would actually have some useful information beyond what can be googled.

Hopefully he will fare better than our last 'wonderkid' of a similar name - his namesake Dean who I seem to remember was touted as the next Steven Gerrard when we got him from QPR, but is now scratching a living in the lower leagues - AFC Wimbledon I think.
Simple fact is - they don't all make it, but I certainly feel that we have made great advances in developing younger players recently.
