i know what you're saying but I then remind myself that he is still an upgrade on Dier or Sanchez and i'm immediately at ease with himThis just seems so underwhelming to me.
Very much a mid-table signing.

It’s not that cheap when you haven’t really established yourself. People on here are talking 5m for dier who, despite the grievances on here, has played prem football for nearly a decade and represented England a number of times vs a young cb who has a year or so in the prem for a mid table team. 10-15 sounds perfectly reasonableWhy is he so cheap? I know 1 year left but 10-15 is still very cheap for a HG player of the required standard.
Went to a few Fulham games last season and he constantly gave the ball away. Error prone and not an upgrade on what we have
I see more of Fulham than any other team other than Spurs, due to some family born there. Also get families viewpoint as they watch all the games. I can't argue that he hasn't made mistakes, but i'd very much argue that he doesn't constantly give the ball away (he may have done in the match/s you saw, but if he was truly that bad at giving the ball away then he wouldn't have stared 25 games for them last season). I'd also say that any defender who's team plays out from the back will make mistakes at sometime, the 'art' is to keep those mistakes to a minimum (and hope they aren't costly mistakes).Went to a few Fulham games last season and he constantly gave the ball away. Yeah at that price point we are just swapping tosin for tanganga who hopefully goes for similar money.I see more of Fulham than any other team other than Spurs, due to some family born there. I can't comment on the games you saw, but i've seen him play very well in some games, being very dominant in the air against strong strikers and being very good on the ball in other games. I've also seen him make a few mistakes but i'd honestly say that over the season he was way more positive than negative.
He'd be coming to us a squad backup player (to Romero), he's a good age and home grown - i really can't see how ''he's not an upgrade on what we have'' . I honestly don't know what standard people expect our back up CB to be - we've just finished 8th, haven't won a trophy for ages and the regular starting CB for a team who finished 2 places behind us isn't rated good enough to be our back up ??
You lost me at abel…Would be great to Have him in and then be abel to move both Tanganga and Sanchez on.
If Tosin comes in to start as our main centre half, it’s a very valid concern. Otherwise comparing an expected 3rd choice to starters.Fulham are buying Salisu & Bassey to replace him and he is good enough for us?
I know, last year of contract so they have to sell, maybe that's why we are interested, it's the market that we deal in( last year of contract)
Look this chap is capped at u 19 level and have not got anyway near the England squad since then
Meanwhile others like Guehi Tomori & Colwill has all moved ahead of him and these 3 are the ones we should be targeting
Really don't think he is much of upgrade at all
Yep, should be in the Kane thread. You lost me at abel…
