Doesn't fancy a move to us supposedly

Same “journo” who was posting two weeks ago about how it was a done deal to Monaco. I’d be shocked if Tosin makes a call until we make a call. No way he does there if we actually want him.

GFFN is run by a massive Spurs hating Gooner so I wouldn’t believe a word of it personally. I’d also be massively concerned if we end up with VDV, Tosin and Philips in a position we’re in desperate need of some real quality!

It's literally just summarising what Foot Mercato are saying.

Although not ITK, i've repeatedly posted about Fulham fans telling me that they've read or seen stuff from Tosin that specifically states he wants to play more regularly, hence him choosing not to sign a new contract with Fulham. He isn't getting that with us, so that makes it a lot harder for us to sign him - but if Monaco don't stump up an acceptable transfer fee, and we do, then at least we give Tosin a decision to make.

Having said that, it also appears that Fulham are struggling in their recruitment and , according to a few Fulham fans watching their pre season, the 'other' right sided CB, who plays instead of Tosin, hasn't been great in pre season. In post match club interviews Silva has mentioned that him playing anyone in pre season was because he expected them to be staying ( that should be taken with a pinch of salt though as Mitrovic also played and we know he wants to leave for Saudi league money).

With my small amount of Fulham knowledge, i'm still unsure he ends up here , i could see him staying and being a regular starter for them or going elsewhere for regular games, i'd suggest we are third choice tbh unless he's either pushed our way (fee agreed with fulham & they fancy selling + no other offers) or Ange is very very persuasive.

It's a tricky one. 3rd choice CB in a team without Europe is a completely lottery. Next season he could end up with 10 appearances or 40 depending on injuries, suspensions, how VdV settles in, etc.

If he wants guaranteed first team football we're a bad move for him, but could be a decent move long term if he's happy to be a back-up to begin with.

Feel that would be a good deal for both clubs and Dier but always felt Tosin would be reluctant to come here knowing he is likely to spend a lot of time on the bench. Would be great if we could sell them Dier regardless.

Also promising we are seeing a team linked to Dier. Been very quiet on that front this window so fingers crossed Fulham or any other team for that matter firm up their interest.

We shouldn’t need to convince someone to be here.
Move on

Agreed. When Joao Felix was linked the other day, it was stated he was holding out for Barca, has his heart set on going there, and Ange only wanted players that wanted to come. Seems odd we’d be trying to push Tosin to come.
