Edit: wasn't logged in! Got a pair in the Paxton, cheers mate you are a hero as when you posted this I had a stub hub ticket in my basket which was double the price!!

If I had bought a WBA ticket on StubHub for the club to then release more on the website, I'd be fuming.

Is this likely to happen for the So'ton game then? I missed out when they went on sale and I'm currently waiting for them to appear on SH.

No way of knowing, there is usually some (I got 2 tickets for last years NLD the night before this way) but it is luck as to when they put them on as they go like lightning. I'm looking on stub hub for Saints game as well and tbh if they come up on there I'd grab them

Like kr1978 says, they are not tickets that are "held back". It's a favour the club does, not a disfavour.
Last season, a small release of tickets 10-14 days before the match was more the rule than the exception. This season, as you can imagine, it's much rarer. I personally out of principal would not use stubhub (but I don't judge anybody else for doing it).
Tickets CAN become available also for the match vs. Saints, but it is truly impossible to know in advance.

I'd say there is a reasonable chance with the saints game due to the kick off change (fingers crossed).
