Aguero to Adam! Says it all really.

Levy knew big moves was going to happen today [Torres Carrol] he softened up the blow by bidding for Aguero which he knew was never gonna happen.

I don't think so. Levy's smarter than that. Nobody on this board is saying anything like 'Well we didn't sign anyone but I'm chuffed we bid for Aguerro!'

When the news was breaking on Sunday night that we had bid for the Spanish based 4 I smelt a rat then. It just did not add up for me and I posted on the transfer rumour chat that i thought it was a publicty stunt. After the farce that was deadline day I'm more convinced of it now. We went from Kun Aguero > Phil Neville in 24 hours....

We had 29 previous days of Jan to target one of them 4 strikers and get the deal done aswell as 4 odd months in the summer trasnfer window yet we waited till the last 25 hours of the Jan transfer window......

We know if we were even vaguely prepared for today target wise we would have got Adam.

Again though we don't know the circumstances, it seems Man U, Liverpool and villa all failed to sign him despite having a lot more time and intention to.

They didn't bid high enough. Nobody agreed a fee. We outbid everyone tonight, and would have got him if we went in a few hours earlier.

I really think Suarez is the one we'll look back at and think 'why didn't we snap him up?' Hope I'm wrong.
